Full moon

It was full moon (or at least to an amateurs eye it looked like one 🙂 ) today. So when we got home I quickly put the kids in the shower and headed outside for some quick shots of the moon. It really is magnificent how much the moon gives light. You could really see the difference as there were periodically thick clouds covering the moon and everything would be pitch dark. Shooting in, on and under water

Oona shot from underwater (Ewa-Marine bag with on camera fill flash)

This blog post is trying to tell how and what I have learned when trying to take the camera near and into water. I am not a diver, so the camera is not going very deep so the hard diving camera boxes are not touched in this post. In the beginning it was just about finding a proper (and cheap) underwater bag, but later I wanted to be able to take flash photography in water, so I had to figure out different ways of taking the speedlights into water. Kids in park

We were in the nearby park this morning. It was a sunny, clear day, so I decided to take my camera along. The kids were enjoying it…as you can see: http://kansala.kuvat.fi/kuvat/Antti/2011-12-03%20Puistossa/?action=slideshow

For tech geeks:

This shot is taken with the sun behind Ode. I had a window behind me, that is reflecting the sun light back to Ode and giving some fill light. This is a location I have used earlier to gain a free reflector.
