Oona and Ode

We had great fun today at a huge old tree trunk. The kids even agreed to pose for me as long as I let them jump to me from the top of the trunk. I think the above photo really captures their playful natures…whenever you can have fun, they try to do so 🙂

Another one of my favorites is the shot below. It has a completely different mood to it – more serious.

For tech geeks:

I used my Sigma 18-50/2.8 lens to shoot these really quickly. With these kids you don’t get the luxury of setting anything special, sometimes you might be lucky enough to change aperture to match the photo.

Nature turning green

Within the past few days the nature has really changed color from dull grey to light green. Trees are waking up, grass is turning green and the nature is getting ready for another summer. The above shot is from Villa Elfvik, here in Espoo Finland. The leaves of a rowan tree had just exposed themselves.
